Our IP Services

We offer highly specialized consulting throughout the entire lifecycle of intellectual property rights. In particular, we assist clients in the following areas:

  • Registration and protection of trademarks and patents: prior art searches, filing applications in Italy, the EU, and internationally (WIPO), management of oppositions and maintenance procedures for trademarks and inventions, with protection strategies tailored to business needs.
  • Copyright: protection of creative works (texts, designs, software, digital content, audiovisual), with assistance on assignment or publishing contracts, related rights and management of online and offline violations.
  • Trade secrets: protection of corporate know-how, confidential information, and non-patented technologies through non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), internal policies, and legal actions against misappropriation under Legislative Decree 63/2018 (implementation of the Trade Secrets Directive).
  • Intellectual property contracts: drafting and negotiating customized agreements for the enhancement and circulation of IP rights – from assignment and co-development contracts to technological joint ventures, from confidentiality agreements to distribution contracts related to intangible assets.
  • Licenses: structuring licensing contracts and technology transfer agreements (trademarks, patents, designs, software, databases), including licenses for digital content use and “open source” models, with attention to royalty models, territoriality clauses, and control over the use of granted rights.
  • Enforcement and litigation: IP rights defense actions in civil, criminal, and administrative proceedings. We handle counterfeiting and plagiarism proceedings, customs seizures, cease and desist letters, and urgent protection measures (injunctions, descriptions, seizures), as well as nullity or revocation cases before courts and patent offices.
  • IP strategy: strategic consulting for integrated IP portfolio management. We conduct IP audits and due diligence, economic valuations of intangible assets, branding and patent strategies aligned with business objectives, as well as internal training programs to raise staff awareness about intellectual property protection.
